What size package can I receive through P.O. Box International?
You can receive packages of just about any size. What you have to keep in mind is that we use air freight only. Items such as furniture and large appliances can be sent through P.O. Box International, it just becomes very expensive to air freight as opposed to sending by sea freight. Large items that we often ship for account holders include items such as computers, electronics, car parts, ready-to-assemble furniture etc. (Please ensure that all shipments are packaged properly as we will not accept liability for damage to goods due to improper packaging.)

How long does it take to receive mail and packages?
Deliveries are done either the same day or next business day after the cargo is cleared at the airport. From the time something gets to the mailbox or street address, it is usually delivered to you in Trinidad and Tobago within 2 days.

Is there a charge for delivery if I elect to have my mail and packages delivered?
There is no additional delivery charge for mail, magazines and small packages.

How do you deal with Customs Duty?
On your behalf, P.O. Box International will pay Customs Duty and VAT in advance, and collect on delivery of package. (In certain cases, we will ask the account holder to prepay customs duty prior to customs clearance.)

Is there anything that I cannot receive through my P.O. Box International account?
Items considered to be Dangerous Goods by Aviation Regulations will be put on hold in Miami and will no be sent. These items include all aerosol cans and hazardous chemicals. If in doubt, please call us before shipping such items.

Can I drop off items at the street address to be sent to me?
Anyone can drop off items at the street address in Miami, to be shipped to you. The shipper will be given a tracking number for each delivery. Our opening hours in Miami are 8AM - 4PM (Miami Time) Monday - Friday. Please try to schedule deliveries between these hours.

Does P.O. Box International provide pick up service in Miami?
We can provide pick up service for packages that you want sent to you. This service is at an additional cost quoted on an individual basis.

What if I want to open an account but I live outside of Trinidad and Tobago?
You have several options. You can give us the address of a friend or relative in the corporate area that we can deliver you mail and packages to. You can elect to pick up your mail at our office or you can instruct us to send it to you via courier once a week. (This would be at your expense.)
